Hong Kong – January 11, 2012 – International mobile solutions firm JMango and the Philippines’ leading courier and remittance company LBC Express Inc. announced the agreement of a strategic partnership to develop and deploy a series of mobile-based applications that will revolutionise the global courier and remittance business in the Philippines and overseas.

JMango’s state-of-the-art mobile solutions will sit at the palms of LBC’s clients, giving them access to the company’s services twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.  In addition to that, the mobile solution promises to optimise LBC’s operations, resulting to a more efficient and superior service to their clients.

Neil Matheson, SVP Mobile Financial Services at JMango said:

“We are extremely proud that LBC Express has chosen JMango as a strategic partner for this long term partnership.  This is a reflection on the quality of work done by our R&D team in Makati, Philippines and proof that our JMango 360 Mobile Financial Services portfolio which includes remittance and payments services as well as customer management and loyalty services is the right choice for today’s competitive market”.

“We are thrilled to be working with JMango in bringing this ground-breaking mobile service to our market”,

said Javier Mantecon, Chief Resource Officer at LBC Express.  He added:

“Their platform and expertise will greatly improve our customer service and will allow us to offer new services. Our clients and customers will enjoy a new level of convenience.  They will be an integral partner as we bring LBC to the mobile forefront.”

JMango will be implementing a range of solutions from their 360 portfolio.  These include a mobile wallet and remittance application that will allow LBC’s remittance customers to send cash to relatives and friends directly from the mobile application and a package tracking application that will allow LBC’s courier customers to track their parcels and remittances through the convenience of their mobile. The applications will be developed using JMango’s patented mobile development platform, allowing the applications to be developed in record time and deployed to all mobile devices and tablets.

The application is currently under development and is scheduled for release on 2012.
